VHBers are Most Influential Women in Georgia Engineering & 35 Under 35

Six VHB Atlanta team members were recognized this month by Engineering Georgia as outstanding and inspiring female leaders in the industry. The awardees were selected by the American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC) Georgia.

The May/June 2025 issue of the publication recognized 100 Influential Women in Georgia Engineering as innovators, decision-makers, and mentors who are setting an example for the next generation. Four VHBers were recognized:

  • Regan Hammond, AICP, Transportation Systems Director
  • Jill Hodges, PE, CPESC, Chief Design Engineer
  • Erin Murphy, Environmental Services Director
  • Stephanie Roberts, AICP, ENV SP, Environmental Transit Planning Manager

The 35 Under 35 Women to Know list spotlighted two VHBers who are recognized by their peers for their drive, creativity, and technical excellence:

  • Allison Bell, AICP, Transportation Planner
  • Janine Payne, PE, Transportation Engineer

“The contributions these six outstanding women in engineering have made at VHB have not only been transformative for Georgia but immensely beneficial for our clients,” said Fabricio Ponce, VHB Atlanta Managing Director. “Their recognition by ACEC Georgia reflects their ability to deliver innovative, resilient solutions that enhance infrastructure and make our transportation systems safer, balancing development and infrastructure needs with environmental stewardship.”
